I could not bring myself to go out on the "dead sea" on what will probably be the last 100+ day of the year.
I'm looking forward to the lake turning over in late October where we can get trout, bass & salmon all near the surface.

I've been doing a lot of whitewater kayaking this summer on the SFA and I have seen some huge trout in the river.

Hey Al that's more than I caught my last two outings! I'm going to try and get out in the morning, launching at Granite Bay. I have been trying to chase the Kings to no luck, so I'm going to try for some Bass as long as the wind isn't blowing too hard. I've marked a spot that has a bunch of fish holding around a submerged tree (bass??) that I'm itching to try. The lake level has been holding at 405ft for some time now......5 more feet until the lake goes to 5mph. I'll post my results with pictures if I get out!
