A two pounder, a 2.8 (the only one I actually measured) and the other three were not much over legal size. All on watermelon/red flake 5" yum dingers fished weightless and rigged texas style.  I had been using 4" Yum's but over half my fish were under sized, going up in size really made a difference. Also, this time on the hooksets I tried to yank them out of the water and over the boat first thing.  I got hit by my own hook a few times but most of the ones I hooked stayed on. It is kind of hard to duck out of the way of a flying bait when you are sitting on a kayak. I finally started just catching it with my hand.

One  was 2 pounds, one 2.8 pounds, and the other 3 barely legal.

Hi Zidd,
Sorry, the forum's layout confused me for a bit.  I went out at whiskey and just fished the first two hundred yards or so.  I also showed up early, 3:00 A.M. and fished the bank for the first two fish.  I am ready to try a new place next time, I am thinking Tiki Lagun next Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, if work does not rear its ugly head.
Do your know if I can fish from the bank at night at Tiki?  A couple of hours of bank fishing followed by the kayak is a nice combination.

Opie,

sorry, I haven't been to Tiki. There are some ppl here that had launch in Tiki.

I'm a beginner Kayak Angler. I've been to CRP, Delta Meadow, and RS. Today, I'm launching at Lodi Lake and will be fishing the Moke river.

The other place I want to try is launch in Downtown Stockton, underneath the freeway overpass and fish towards the Stockton Deep water port area.
