The extra fish went to the Dad (of the boat owner) who made sure the boat was ready for us the night before. Charged the batteries, etc. It was nice to have it all set to go in the AM.

:smt102 A bit of a drive from Campbell, but I've got the big canning pressure cooker device. We received it from my wife's great grandmother as a wedding gift this past June, really nice aluminum with a gauge. SCORE! We've only used it once only to sterilize some jars for pickling summer vegies - so frankly have no intel on how to use it for canning other than some books I haven't read yet.

Just putting it out there in case you find yourself in a pickle on preserving the meat.
