Just fabricated a "BOOGIEYAK" and tried it out at Trinadad. It's an Islander kayak with two boogie boards attached as outriggers. I also incorporated a troling motor and substantial backrest. Worked very well especially for a first run. Abking happened by and took a few pictures of the boogie mount. I was happy to meet him as had viewed some of his youtume video. I wasn't very productive on the fishing, only one black snapper who voluntered to serve as bait for lings. I did get 2 good ling bites but no hookups. The BOOGIEYAK is very stable, as I encountered several large wakes by hi speed passerbys with no problem. Will post a few photos if I can figure out how.

That's pretty creative did you register your Kayak?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

I made a footboard for my Islander that I find makes all the difference, night and day, when it comes to paddling ergonomics.
I put some surfboard wax on the back of it and on the kayak to reduce slippage.

That looks like a good improvement. I especially like the added flotation of my BOOGIEYAK RACK (helps with the 40# battery!for my troling motor) as well as the stability. Looking foreward to next bottom fishing season. Where are you located? I have a friend who would like to get a Colada if you hear of any for sale.
