Eric and I plan to do some night bass fishing at RS on Saturday.
Should be nice with a full moon to light our way.
Sunset is 7:29pm
Moon rise is 7:45pm

Company welcome. :smt006
The main gate closes at 6pm. No way to get in after 6pm. The exit gate will let you out anytime after that.
I think there's a $5 per care fee at the gate. Gas motors and live bait are prohibited here. Google "Rancho Seco Lake".

Al,

You are correct, it is $5.00 per vehicle.

I am going to try and make it out there.

I hope you do too Terry. I'd rather be on CL. You have a much better chance for the monsters. Look forward to the reports.

Eric and I decided to postpone tonight's outing due to the wind. Looks like it will be picking up later in the day.  No fun fighting the wind on that little lake.

standing down as well. soda bay has breaking waves and the overcast skies will most likely obscure the moon. that and a woman WAY too hot to be with me called and im out the door (priorities).
maybe tommorrow night

Did some full moon bassin' here in fresno Fri night.  Had one major strike on a black/yellow SPRO and a light hit on a maroon worm.

was out in the usual haunts last night for nada. spent a good 6 hours on the water in moderately windy conditions but the sky was clear and it felt great to be out there. after realizing the bite wasnt going to happen I stowed the rods and went for a long paddle. Usually the clear lady comes to life at night but even the local otters stayed hunkerd. odd

Nice night to be on the water. Sorry to hear you didn't catch the monster.
