Night Fishing Tuolumne River

I went night fishing for the first time. Some SM but no LM. SM were on spinners and grubs, I threw all kinds of topwater baits with no takers. Casting was quite a bit different in the dark and luckily I didnt catch any wood bass!!  We fished 8 pm to 12:30 am. I was wanting to go farther up stream to an area that has  LM, but it meant wading thru some shallow rapids and Cousin Bob wasnt up for it. The area we fished was pretty shallow probally 3 foot at the deepest. I really enjoyed being out on the river at night, very peaceful and even got a touch chilly with my short sleeved shirt on. A beaver splashed near my yak while floating down to our exit point and almost gave me a heart attack. Trip was stellar overall and I had a great time!!!!!

Thanks for report an pics...I love that last shot with the moon...I remember in Wy bank fishing middle of the day half a sleep and beaver slapped the water in a hole right in front of me...Heart attack city...
