Fished all morning yesterday off Chrissy field with incoming tide, only one really good hookup unfortuneately lost it when my brothers line broke.

Thanks for the report! My brother in law fish that area religiously!

Hey, Gone_Fishin

Where exactly is Chrissy Field? I've heard of the place but I live in the East Bay so my familiarity is based pretty much around the Sacramento and San Juaquin Rivers. I'm just getting into the whole craze of Kayak Fishing albeit for now I'm borrowing one of my brothers kayaks. Haha

Thanks,
UglyDuck

Hey Ugly:

Chrissy Field is a long stretch of beach disposed between Golden Gate Bridge to the north and Marina to the south.  There's a ton of free parking right on the beach.  I imagine a surf launch would be very doable, as I've rarely seen big surf.  Hope that helps.

Thanks yakuza

Still trying to get the feet wet so I do prefer easier beach launches for now until I feel better about venturing into the rough stuff.

By Fort Point.  The fort under the South end of the GG Bridge.
