Give me a break here! This guy should have been banned for life for his atrocities.I believe that people can do their time but how do you ask young people to look up to this murderer.

The NFL is all about money! Look at Crabtree who hasn't even caught a pass in the NFL yet. I'mkinda getting sick of all of the players attitudes.

My opinion of Vick through quotes...

"Cruelty to dumb animals is one of the distinguishing vices of low and base minds. Wherever it is found, it is a certain mark of ignorance and meanness; a mark which all the external advantages of wealth, splendour, and nobility, cannot obliterate. It is consistent neither with learning nor true civility." ~ William Jones, English Philologist and Jurist

"Anyone who has accustomed himself to regard the life of any living creature as worthless is in danger of arriving also at the idea of worthless human lives." ~ Albert Schweitzer, Alsatian Theologian, Musician, and Medical Missionary

I so agree, in fact I don't even watch sports anymore because most these people are living thier dreams and crying that they don't make enough money. Give me a break.

Vick does a couple years for dog fighting - Stallworth 23 days for DUI and killing a human
That just doesn't sit well with me - they should both be banned... and Stallworth should still be in jail.

Goodell needs a blanket policy - if a player gets sentenced to jail - they are done.

I think playing football in Philly is worse then hell. As soon as he looses game the fans will tear him a new a-hole. Dog fighting will seem civil compared to his home field. They have a friggin' jail cell in the stadium!

So true--my grandfather once told me why he didn't watch sports--either on television or in person. He told me he didn't find value in paying to watch millionaires play and live their dreams any more than he'd pay to watch his banker work and get rich. Then he said something very meaningful to me I always keep in mind:"You can help build dreams with your time, effort, and money--yours or someone else's--make sure it's yours you are building." We don't even have television in our house for 12 years now and we don't miss the time it used to steal from our lives.
