I got 1/2 day off work Friday so my GF and I will be headed up Friday and camping at Ocean Cove. We will launch from OC as well, hopefully at the crack of dawn Saturday.
Driving a gray and white GMC with a yellow prowler 15 and a blue prowler 13.
Will hopefully have my marine VHF radio by then so I can let y'all know when I get that 30 lb ling! Channel 69 of course.

Tote,

I'm unfamilar with Ocean Cove other than it's the private campground in the general area of Fort Ross, Stillwater Cove, and Salt Point.

What are the fees like?  Day use fee?  Boat launch fee? etc..

Maybe it would be useful if you wrote up a "places to lauch" either here on the forum or better yet on the main website.

Thanks,
Brian

Ocean Cove is 1/4 north of Stillwater cove ( sonoma )

You can literally drive to the oceans edge to unload your stuff then park a very short walk from there.
Fish cleaning station, picnic tables, coin-op showers.
I like it for the ease of loading and unloading. After a long day on the water the last thing I want to do is lug gear.

I a kayak a dive board or a boat by their calculations?

$8 or $12 to park/launch.  Do they charge by the kayak, or by the carload of kayakers?
