I have to say those baitfish are better eating than most AOTY fish.

Do you just gut them & toss 'em on the coals, or is there more to it? I'll try this next time I get some nice ones.

 I used to love sardines when I was a kid (before I discovered they were bait).

Looks like the gut is left intact.  Wonder he's using any BBQ sauce to enhance the flavor.

Guts are left intact.  Just throw them on the grill and maybe salt em if you want, and afterwards it's easy to pull away the filets.
