Totally stoked... thanks for the props!... Definitely a trip to remember and a new area to explore next summer. The roads were in great conditions... way more federale checkpoints than usual and cops posted up watching route 1 in every town... all in all I felt pretty safe, though we took all necessary precautions when camping... Chucho came down and helped with the fish clean, load and unload... Its good when the locals got your back in pirate land. Fishmaster, the vacation was totally affordable and doable in a week or so, but the wind and s swell factor can make it dicey. Yeah, I think the beard has done something to my fishing skills...I grew it out a few years ago and everyone, including the fish, takes me that much more seriously... lol...  :smt001 Ghostbuster would be a pretty silly online name... true though... 4 in a year ain't that bad!.. hmmm... maybe I should join the AOTY competition... But, its too late cuz I've never once measured my fish and taken a picture of it.. I could use a new kayak tho.. I've had the same one for 5 or 6 years now and have already had to path two holes in it this summer.

Brendan

I think I have to do that trip.  What a great looking spot.  Camp right on the beach?  Sounds like the policia is trying to crack down on the crime in baja.   Congrats on the fish.
