Many of you that were there already saw this but I thought I would post the pictures because I thought they turned out so good! Thanks again Craig! I wish I knew the cove where I shot this guy, but by looking from the ocean to shore everything looks different so I'm not exactly sure, maybe 2-3 miles north of stump beach? He was only maybe 10 -15 ft down. I think we measured him at 37 3/4" at the beach and scaled him at 16 1/2 lbs. He is my biggest by a long shot to date and will probably continue to be so for a long time.

Jason its good to see you post that fish. Its got to be close to the spot I took you for abs last year. That little washing machine area.  I have had some fun with you and your dad over the years. Now we will head just a touch farther north for some new ground next year. Are you ready to continue the search? When I heard you on the radio I was so frickin' happy for you. I have known you since you were 12 and you deserve a fish like that more than anyone I know. Keep up the good work. See you soon, in it or on it. Craig

I'm always ready man! And I think if I had to guess I was a little further north than the washing machine entry, but again I'm not 100% sure. And if it wasn't for you and Steve I wouldn't be half the diver I am today.

And to everyone else thanks for the kind words, it really was a one in a million shot. I doubt I'll nail one that perfect again!

It was with a Mares pneumatic although I couldn't tell you the model. It's actually kind of funny because I grabbed my dad's gun. If I were using my pea shooter I might have just given him a bad headache. lol.
