Nice to get out on the water today with the guys. Nice halibut Ty-superfishman, MF Kurt the fish measuring guy said your fished weighed #28's. Was very slow for me today, was so up and down with the windswell that I couldn't even enjoy a cigar down wind from everyone. Oh and did I say nice halibut, very nice halibut, I still have yet to catch one this year.

Dave,

About the weight, I saw on the scale indicated 23# when MF Kurt weighed the fish. Either I missed reading or Kurt missed recorded. I did not weight the fish again but I think it is 23#. Sure you will get some soon. I just lucky to get one. Hope to see on the water soon.

Thanks, Ty

It was cool fishing with Darius and Dave again, and nice to meet you Ty.  It was a little rough launch and bumpy on the outside but doable. I caught a nice cabi on the first drop followed by a variaty of the usual chinas , gophers small blacks. Released 4 nice sized cabis, just wasn't in the mood to clean those, kept 4 blacks and a 19 in. vermi.  no lings not even a shorty.  The landing interesting big swells close together, just let them roll under me a paddle my ass off on the back side, made it no problem, think I was lucky.  Lets do it again guys....
