Launch in the Gualala river, paddle out to the river mouth, drag your boat across the beach and either paddle north or south to get to structure.  Gualala Point Island is pretty good to the south, but there's more and better structure if you head north to Anchor Bay - which is the other alternative:

Go to Anchor Bay Campground and pay the launch fee.  If you can't find structure from there, well, you actually would have try to miss it.  There's rocks everywhere.

Yep, decent spot to put in & fish. $8 or $10 to park & launch.
Catch & Repeat

Go to the north end of Anchor Bay Beach and paddle around the point where you will run into Fish Rock (good name huh) try there. God luck :smt006
