I was just wondering what everone thought about this kayak, was thinking about buying one.

T140's are sturdy, well layed out fishing kayaks.  The tank well is big enough for a crate, the cockpit has room for fishfinders or rod holders.  The downsides are the hatches, Tupperware style and some do not like them, and weight.  It is pretty heavy to car top, but doable.

I have a T140, the biggest problem I have with it is the seat sits low so your hinny is always sitting in water.  The hatches are kind-of a pain, but usable, It is fast (for a much more experienced paddler than myself). I Have stood up in it, but find it impossible to do anything from that position but balance yourself (just wanted to see if I could do it). You are limited to where you can mount a fish finder, I put mine in the foot well so it is not sticking up from the top, but you better have long arms to reach it. The center hatch in front of the seat is real limited, it is only about 4 inches across, and makes it difficult to get in and out of. I like the boat, but will probably consider a different style for my next boat.

The 160 must be a completely different design than 140, there's no center hatch and h2o in the seat isn't a problem.
