went out of capitola at about 11am and caught some sardines and makeral straight off the wharf. then went south of the hook and fished the pockets in the kelp for seabass and halibut for about 2 hours. didnt see or hook any seabass but did manage to get a 26 inch halibut on a live dean on a halibut rig. beatiful weather and a nice south swell coming in.. looks like im gonna have to hang the rods up and go surfing tomoro :smt003
