Nathan is young, I am old.  He was warm, I was cold.  He went diving, I went fishing.  He speared some, I got more and better :smt003  Nothing to brag about, a few blacks, one cabezon.  He got a few grass rockies and some perch.  The fishing overall was pretty slow.

When I was trying to make bait, I hooked a senorita.  Anybody know if they are legal to use as live bait?  Not knowing, I tossed the fish back but now I am curious.

If you head out that way, be careful, the boat traffic is loosing IQ at a fast rate.  Nathan had a dive flag up, and a full party dive boat was a hundred or so feet away and some idiot ran between the two of us at full throttle. :smt013

wish I still had the will to fish rockies I'd make a trip down that way Couldn't swear to it but I think they taste better

Where were you in pacific grove? I wonder if they still have the city-imposed mpa? we used to go in there and fish it anyway

boat pilot iqs run the gamut

I had a 6 pack(pro) outside of hmb come at me full throttle like they were aiming and I could've touched the boat with my paddle when it passed

The people in the back dropped their jaws when they saw me flipping them the bird in the boat's wake

I was fishing the coral street area.  Between the Lover Point no fish zone and the Asilomar no fish zone.  It still has some restrictions but fin fish are OK.
