Anybody? Conditions look good according to the forecast. I'd rather not fish The Big Bad Bean alone...

I'm up for going out, if you're up for having a greenhorn along.  Will be my first time in the ocean.  I will not be offended if you don't want the extra baggage.  I have a T15, with with rod holders on their way. Have the Plano box and the milk crate with rod holders for now. Send an email if you want to discuss.

If the condition is good, I may be there too.

I'm going to pass on BH this time. I might go to Ft Ross instead. BH is NOT a place for lumpy seas, IMO.
For your first time on the ocean, don't go to BH. Try Ft Ross or Stillwater (Sonoma) instead. Easy launches.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

Smart move sirius

heres the forecst

WED
W WINDS 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 3 FT. NW SWELL 3 TO 5 FT AT
8 SECONDS.

Could look like a lake, or could have boomers on the beach with this forecst.

BH is not a very good 1szt time spot, the launch and landing is potentially dangerous.

I'm gonna check out Pillar Pt and come on down to the Bean if it looks good.
The Half Moon Bay party boats keep dipping into the Bean for good reason no doubt.
I love getting a good hook-up in front of the $60.00 per trip guys.

Thanks, Scallen.  Getting my fish finder on Wedesday (Humminbird 160) and rod holders coming in on Thursday.  Just got the hard-to-get Rod Pod kit to upgrade my T15, so will be busy the next couple days.  Shooting for a Friday or Saturday outing.  Is Pillar Point better for 1st timer?

Gotta fish. . .

Yes you can launch inside the harbor and theres a kelp bed if you go east towards the Mavericks.. you can catch tons of bait inside the mouth of the Harbor too. I know how you feel itchy too fish,  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044 trust me I've been there I am the only one left on the newbie here that kept on coming the rest ummmm just got silence :smt003 :smt003 just always be safe please, before you go on the open ocean try the  bays first feel the water..at least thats what I did.
