My family spent a wonderful day today.  We took our bikes on the ferry across racoon straight to Angel island, and biked around the Island.  Nice picnic, etc.

came home via the beach route Hwy1.

As I approached the bean, I saw 2 cars with yaks atop. coming closer I started honking wildly and the whole family waved as we passed Adam Fishunter at 65mph!

It was great to see you FH!, sorry we didn't stop and chat.

Where's your fish report?

Allen

PS It was hard to be at AI, looking at all that nice water, imagining haibut in the sandy shallows, but I persevered for WAF and KAF (...Kids.....)

And, I get to go out tomorrow morning.  Hopefully nice report tomorrow afternoon heehee.

Fishing angle Island at night from your sail boat is a blast too.  Everyone leaves the island after 5 and it's left to the people/boats moored up.  I've caught some big skates, stripers and even salmon off the back of the boat in the evening..

I camped there a few years ago.  took the ferry with the fam then went back for y yak.

It was too windy to yak fish the next day, but I got a flattie surfcasting from the beach near that old fort.  Also a striper on my paddle in.

i know it's fishy there.
