My wife came home on Thursday with two Giants tix, seems one of her associates, a season ticket holder, couldn't make it on Friday night. Let's see...Lincecum, no, Sanchez (2-8) is pitching. Hmmm...never been to the new park, and my wife has never been to a Major League Baseball game ever...yeah, let's do it. Like to see Lincecum or Cain, but oh well.

Middle of the 6th inning, I leaned over to my wife and said, the tension in here is going to start, because something very unusual is happening.

First MLB no-no of the season, and I got to watch from the Lower Box section behind 1st\RF. First Giant's lefty to do it since 1929. First in the new park. Last SF no-no was 33 years ago.

 :wav:

I doubt I'll live long enough to see one of those in person again.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Is it inappropriate to say "Go A's?"  :smt007
Though I do have to give a thumbs up because he was a previous Fresno Grizzlies player...

Nah, I'm not really even a fan, I just love the game.
I was at the beach last week with my daughter and 4 guys and a girl started a wiffle ball game - I watched.
I'd have felt just as lucky if I'd been at an A's game for a no-hitter. It's as close to the World Series as you can get without actually being at a WS game, I think. The crowd was on it's feet for the last two innings. It was awesome.
