I would pass a nice cove on the way home from the Fort.  It's right next to the russian gulch bridge.  anyone ever attempted to launch from there?  It looks calm everytime.

I figured that if we can launch from there somehow we can cut 30 mins. on our travel time.

 the only reason i dont launch there is one of my fishin buddies says that cars get jacked in the parking area alot.

Dude they place hella sucks.  Big swells all the time.  The trails is uphill both ways.  there's no fish, Adam hates that place.  There's a whole school of white sharks there.  I wouldn't recommend it.
