Wow:  boccie's bait is really huge!  8-9" sardines.  I soaked live ones near the kelp West of harbor, by the wharf in 20 FOW (boccie's suggestion, he cauyght three halobut in his net last night on a set) then went to Mile buoy an finished up with a giant drift past the sailing buoy near Black's Point.  No halibut....

I did catch a number of bolina rockfish while fancasting a 4" swimbait, let them all go so I could continue to use 2 rods.

Fished from 6:30 to noon.  Water was bumpy but very fishable.

Good to meet Witness out on a beautiful T15 (looks just like mine, haha)

We will try again, maybe the NW sell turbed up the waters.

Oh, and I promise I will post Alaska stories tonight or tomorrow!!
