Nice morning at the Cosumnes River Preserve. Got a late start, on the water 9:30am off at 12:00.
Paddled up the C past the train bridge to try for some SMB. Had a few hits, one released at the boat and one very small bass landed.

Hit the Moke after that for nothing. Overall, great day to be on the water and I didn't get skunked.

LOL, you must have been right behind us getting on the water.  We hauled butt up past the "tall Forrest" and played around the slough south of there.  Then we slowly paddled back, getting off the water at 12:30 with the tour group (what a headache, but they let us piggyback the boats on carts to the truck :) )!

I'm sure you saw my truck in the lot (the black PU with a white yakima box over the bed...)

Looks like you did better than I, my only fish of the day spit the hook boatside...

See you next weekend.
Less Mental than before, Still savage AF tho <3

I saw the tour group. They cruised past me as they headed up river. Sorry I missed you out there.
