Will probably be going out of Santa Cruz this Friday with 2karats.  Anybody interested in joining us, let us know or call us on Channel 69.

If all goes according to plan, I'll be heading over toward the  light house about 8 am and then I'm going to be playing it by ear. This thresher shark thing has me thinking of jigging some bait and heading out onto the reef. Caught a couple small , 22 & 22.5" , halibut out by the black point buoy Tuesday. I'd spent all day on the edge of the kelp over at O'neills and only got a raked fish trap short strike and then in a half an hour in the evening by the buoy I caught those two and two short's,  18" or so.
Caught those halibut due west of the buoy 100' or so.
   See ya tomorrow.

OK!, I haven't heard back from 2Karats but I assume we are meeting around 7:00 at A Dock.  Perhaps we will start going out to Black Rock Buoy and will wait for you in that vicinity.  From there, we can all go to the Lighthouse and start working our way back.  Any other ideas are certainly welcome.

I meant to add it to the Post.  If you can remember your Radio, we will be on Channel 69.

One more post.  I just looked at Bocci's web site and he has bait.  Depending on what 2karats wants to do, we may be at Bocci's getting bait while you are getting into the water.  We might all be withing a few hundred yards of each other as we start.
