I've been thinking about checking out Davenport Landing. Can someone give me directions on how to get there, where to park, how far to the beach... I've got a 10ft Zodiac with launching wheels so will be dragging the boat down to the beach. And then once there, a few recommended areas to fish.

Probably won't try it this weekend with the swell but I'm curious how the launch is there with the swell.

Thanks so much for your help

Al

Al,
Coming from the south, Davenport Landing Road is about 1-1.5miles north of town.  Its a small road, easy to miss.

I saw a guy launch/land a small aluminum there Solo!  He had a difficult time dragging it up.
Its very protected up the middle and you should not have a problem launching on a day where a 10ft zodiac is safe in the ocean.

Best place to unload/drag is about 50 yards south of the bathrooms.

Caught fish both north and south, so either way works.

Good Luck,
Stuart
