Joel and I were set to troll LM for stripers but the wind chop was up and by the time I got there Joel had already got skunked.  I convinced Joel that Plan B would be a better option.  Plan B was lunch and Yoko and the brisbane tubes.  The fishing wasn't great but Joel and I had a 50$ bet going that said I would not out fish him with a hair raiser to his swim bait.  With that in mind we launched to Hitatchi building and paddled to the tubes.  I came back 1 fish heavier and 50$ richer.   Well, I didn't collect the bet but I did get Joel to change bait.  (that I bought for him) :smt002

I'm talking about Joel "Mooch" he doesn't like sturgeon fishing and with Salmon done and Rockfish another week away he probably has been laying low.

Congratulations (and thanks for the report).  Winning a bet is almost as cool as catching a fish.

It is great to get back out there for sure!  As for the hair raiser you put at 4-6 inch worm tail to give it action. Never caught one without it but I am sure someone has.  Mooch hooked a non keeper Halibut at linda mar using one today.
