I met Bob (don't know his forum name) at Hell Hole for what was supposed to be 2 days of Kokanee fishing.  The weather was pretty bad; cold, wet and windy. The fishing was almost as bad as the weather.  We trolled for hours without a bite.  Bob caught the only fish (his first kokanee) on a hail Marry troll back to the launch .

We decided not to camp due to the weather.

That's BobN!  Too bad about the slow bite, but that place looks beautiful.  Thanks for posting it up.   :smt001

That sure looks like a pretty place to fish. When you get into an area like that it makes the ol' skunkaroo more bearable.
The fishing was so good I thought I was there yesterday!

I hate to say that I am glad to hear you got skunked but I fished my @ss off at Gerle Creek on Friday, then headed over to Loon to cast at a few rises off the dock then down to the American for some shad and did not get one single strike all day. I thought it was me but after this report I can somewhat breathe a sigh of relief.
Sorry that you got skunked. I think it was the change in wx as a friend of mine got 20 fish two days earlier.

Sorry about the bad WX out there. Makes for even a longer day in the saddle. Good to see a familiar face though. Bob is a trooper and one of the best to spend a long day on the yak with.

Bob is a great guy to fish with.  We plan to do a 3 day kayak-in camping trip to Hell Hole in the near future.  It would be cool if we could get a few others to join too.

Too bad about the skunk. Those pics are nice, I will be fishing Jackson Meadows in mid-July and those pics get me feeling a bit anxious.

Do you ever fish Morningstar? I was there years ago for a Clamper function and fished the bank. No luck.
The fishing was so good I thought I was there yesterday!

Sorry about the bad weather and no fish Adam. The place looks awesome. BobN
is a great guy to hang out with. When I get back from the Philippines in mid
