Just made a gaff out of a chuck of drift wood and a large bolt grounded down and a bit of Gorilla glue...and thinking of building a trough... any idea's would be greatly appreciated..got a few ideas from "Da' Cove" recent post....

I made one out of plexi. I just heated up a part about 4 inch from the end and bent it against a block of wood (to make the 90 degree bend). The I used one of the free DFG ruler stickers. I'll try and get a pic up this weekend.

Here ya go. I just had the plex scrap lying around so thats that I used. I guess you could use some 1x3" lumber (which would make it float) or old rwd fencing material. I also wanted it to me compact yet able to measure fish of 24" so I made an extension that folds under. The pipe idea is nice 'cus my version is flat and the 'trough' aspect is nice to have.
