Great conditions this morning up to 11:30 when the wind started , but didn"t get   unfishable till 1:00 pm.
Started fishing at 8:30 a little outside the the black point buoy with no action at all. Moved inside the buoy about 9.30 where a group of pb ers were fishing and caught a 27" ling on a dead sardine, which were all I used today. They were dead because I hate towing the tube around and then they die anyway. I was using  Boccie Boy Brand , which are excellent, nice and juicy.
Got two baits snapped in half, definitely halibut, no stinger hook. A lot of crab action, two baits came up in a relatively small amount of time with only a little bitty bit of head left. Pretty sure that was big crabs. A lot of tails chewed on by the small ones.
Nothing else, not even a nibble.
Bayside  has pictures of halibut caught today.
