Russian Gulch 6/1

Got on the water early fished hard all day... 6:30am till 2pm with a little ab diving in between... choppy conditions 2-3 ft swells no viz maybe 2ft.  Now for all those people that were seals in their previous life like my dive partner... it was easy peasy... but for struggling little oh me...   I couldn't see S#%t and didn't get S#%t...and lost the biggest ab bet$$$

But the 4 browns and 2 sea trout won out the Big fish Bet$$$ and will be breakfest today....<---gives u an idea how big the fish were....

Last Friday the bite was ONNNN but yesterday was a whimper as far as quality fish were concerned...but is was sure fun...

The plankton bloom seems to have shut down the bite for the whole North Coast.  As far as poor vis, hey, you can get used to it, just takes a little experience....

I was reading some posts on albion having bloom 4 days ago or so...well I cant fish for 2 weeks.... so I guess that's a good thing...

I've talked to old salts who say "ah just swim right down and it clears up on the bottom, but ya got to watch out, ya might hit your head"...

Last yr I was saying if I cant stand on them I'm not getting um....this yr I've ventured into some caves...well kinda....a little..well all right I just look at um... now unless that monster abs just waiting out in the open waving a flag goin "Here I am" come and get me, hey Mikey here I am...
