headed up for a quick fish after work today... paddled out around 5 with sheet glass conditions. My buddy Sandbag and I were the only two on the water. We moved from paddy to paddy catching small assorted rock fish nothing to brag about and nothing to keep. I paddled a little north dropped my line and wham...I new I had a nice ling from the minute it hit. The fight was great and it ran a couple of times when it hit the surface. It ended up being a 32' ling...my day was complete. On the next drop I caught a nice red. Had a nice hour thirty on the water with dinner for the weekend. I have not posted since my last post as I posted without photos. I bought a camera today and plan to post many more photos throughout the season..

See you on the water

Nice fish.  Cambria really has a lot of big lings.

Great job - that ling looks bigger than 32" (but I don't think it's 32'!   :smt002).  Nice one.   :smt001

Nice ling! I like that 32" size...easier to clean. When they get too long I run out of counter space. :smt001

Very nice! Now you have one hell of a story to tell the coworkers the next day, you can end it with the question "So what did you do after work yesterday?" :smt003
