Noob here, i see you guys all have this string type of thing, its a metal ring? What is it, where did ya get it and is this a must have, still currious on how and where you guys store your fish??

Those are called game clips and most diving shops have them. I just tie mine off to a pad eye near the tankwell and throw any fish I keep (which is rare) on the clip and into the tankwell.

I 2nd hook1 they are great and they will toss in a sticker or two so you can pimp your ride. Also I recommend getting the bigger one. 1/2 a limit of rockies can fill up a clip real fast.

I carry 2, if you get the fish of a lifetime you don't want to be fumbling with a clip full of fish to secure that one special prize.
