 You need to get down to kayak connection, ask about Allen Bushnell's classes. They also have a couple of prowler 13s' on sale and if you get a wetsuit from them make sure it has a fly.  Beware of the older lady though, she is a real whip cracker. If she scares you off go to monterey bay kayaks in moss landing, great customer service. Arron is a member of this site and is the manager there.

Are Allen's classes out of SC or menterey?

SC would be ideal or capitola..

Thanks again guys and thanks for the welcome, yeah im pretty stoked to finally get into this, i live right there and have always wanted a kayak..

Ill check out the prowler and a course, should be fun..

Capitola boat and bait will rent to fisherman, but yeah the kayak connection will not....

Cant wait to get out there, gonna get a wet suit tonight...
