Renting boats around Lake Mendocino

Hi all,

I'm still working on getting my kayak, but would like to check out Mendo before the season's over.  I found that the marina doesn't exist anymore... Is there anywhere to rent boats or kayaks in the area?

We don't officially rent yaks, but if you really want to go we can set you up.

That would be sweet!   I'm coming up with a friend, though.  Would it be possible to "unofficially" rent two kayaks?

I visited your site, I'm actually very interested in getting a marinerXF, do you have one I could try out?
