Hi Yakers:

The low tide made for a easy dive and, I had my Limits of
8" in 1/2 Hr. I worked the N. Point of the S. Isl. and parked on the opposite Reef on the Lee side.
I'm soo glad I was on on Yak. Divers on Float tubes had to swim
thru a carpet of Kelp. :smt044
I would post some Picks. but, my old PC is dead! :smt010

Strong work Ernie.

I guess the kelp is super thick there? Is there still a channel for boats to get in and out?

Hi Yakers:

The Main Channel is open but, I like to stay close to the Kelp and, just glide over the top. The main kelp Bed South is sooo thick ,it would most likely kick my Ass if I had to swim into the Kelp Carpet! :smt044
