Berryessa day 2

  Talked Lisa into joining me this afternoon, since yesterday was so fun.  Fished from 3 until sundown and had dinner at the italian restaurant up near the lake.  The folks that live and work near the lake are really hurting with what our lovely federal government has done to the resorts up there.   It is a great place to kayak and to fish, and I stongly urge trying it!   Had a few larger fish today, same sort of wind so using crank baits out in 10-20 feet seemed to work the best.  Also, right as it was getting dark I was getting tagged left and right, and most amazing was catching fish right in the lagoon where all of humantiy had been swimming just an hour or two before!  All and all a great way to spend the afternoon.  By the way, a shout out to the ladies for either fishing with us or putting up with us fishing!

  thanks, I believe I caught 3 of the 4 bass available in our area, LMB, Smallies and Spotted.  Don't think there are any stripers in berryessa!
