blue lakes 5/9 5/10

On upper blue Lake (Lake county)  Troll the end by the road between the lakes, that is the spot most people will tell you to go to.  I will be able to go there on the 27th of May.

Are ya talkin bout the very most western portion of the lake tom? a lot of peeps are getting hookups on the skinny part of the lake "narrows" 

I'm just figuring out trolling in fresh water...done a bunch of ocean...been looking for those banana  weights, every place I've gone doesn't have theme purchased some dodgers...last sat. late suns been down getting dark. I'm trolling by the narrows...broken back rap. and all of sudden two golden retrievers come swimming towards me...one of um picks up my rap in its mouth and starts swimming to shore!!!  had to paddle like mad to keep a slack line....guy had dumped them out in the middle from his boat to let them get a work out.... dog was OK... trebs didn't get him....lost my dodger on the bottom guy didn't say squat....pissed me off.....   but what can ya do....but keep fishing....I wonder is there a freaking leash law....I love dogs, but come on.....out where people are trolling for fish...

 Tom thanks for the PM,  I'm game...Wednesday 27Th way early in the morning before the sun comes up works for me...i can fish 3-4 hrs before work, maybe all day depending of work I'm flexable...

 if u turn off of 20 by the store i think that's blue lakes rd. @ the T make a right, 1 block another right, and instead of going into pine aceres, keep going strait theres a gate and a dock easy access...anyone else want to join just PM me and we'll hook up!!! there welcome ...Hydrospider?...maybe i can get the low down on fresh water....I'd really like to try rodmams slough...hits a hot bite right now....

Yaked my 10 year old daughter to the rope swing across from the narrows and then went bass fishing. Caught one about 10lbs or so. Saw several that size. and a lot of smaller ones but the bluegills kept eating my nightcrawlers.
But it was a fun day got to watch my daughter having a ball and yak a beautiful lake.

Ocean_314 hello, did u see anyone hooking any of those big trout there?

lots of people trolling for trout but i didnt see any hookups. The gal in the store said three of the big ones have been caught.
there is a ton of big bass in that lake, i was amazed how many i saw swimming along the shoreline. I didnt have a camera with me but it was a fat 25" long which i guess is about 10 lbs.
