Hello All, I Didn't really know where to post this but me and a couple of friends were planning to yak down in monterey and see if we can land on some rockies, thing is we've never been there so i was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the launch site(s) or it's location in general.  *Edit* actually guys i just looked online on monterey bay and they have lots of beaches, and i was just wondering if anyone knew which of the beaches there had the best of both worlds kayaking (fishing for rockies) and swiming. Any help would be nice, Thanks (again) in advance, guys.

I don't intend on winning any tourney's, I intend on fishing with the brother's OTW and having a good time while at it... NCKA!

A nice beach for both those activities would probably be San Carlos beach right between the Coast Guard Pier/Breakwater Cove and Cannery Row. Rockfish are in that vicinity and the divers zoo there every weekend means its a decent/safe place to enjoy some swimming. Just beware of the rocks speckled throughout the sand
