Met up with Mooch and Mickfish at Sonoma today.  They `schooled' me today, each of them catching lots o' fish while I only managed to bring in one 13 1/2 inch smallie.  Still was a great day.  It was good to meet the two of you Mooch and Mickfish.  I hope we can do it again soon.

Had a great time up the Lake today nice meeting and fishing with you Jody. Got there to a little breeze and headed across the dam got 1 dink LL and a couple of smallies by the time I got across the lake the wind died and it was glass flat fishing was a little slow till I found them 10/12' off the points 3/4' in the coves I was catching 1 or 2 off each point till I got to this one point I was throwing a rap and a pointer and both were working well. I hooked up with a big fish on the rap first jump he threw the lure so I tossed the pointer and he hit that jumped and thew it back at the boat well he didn't come back but I had over 20 hook ups off that 1 point and landed 15 all nice fish with the biggest at 16.75".  Coolest fish of the day I was in a cove and there was a bunch of brush that dropped off into deep water I lobbed a senko along side the brush and was watching it sink and a smallie flashed out of the cover inhaled the senko and headed for the bottom fish on pretty cool how fast he inhaled it. Then the wind kicked up and the fishing cooled but it was fun. Good seeing you Mooch.

Nice job guys, love that lake.  Maybe see you out on the river this weekend Mike, things are back in shape now for the river smallies.

Jody - nice to meet you  :smt006 And thanks for the H2O :smt002

Mike, as usual = always a pleasure fishing with ya!

I got to the lake late (about 9:30AM) :smt011 I figure I'd follow Brian G's philosophy = "Fish don't care if I sleep in..." It turned out great as I manage about a dozen SMB and one LMB. None were of size but the numbers were good. Caught a few with a small rattle trap - I lost a few coz my hook's were rusted :smt011 I switched to the discontinued risto rap and my hook-up ratio dramatically improved. Over all,a great day on the lake = very little boat traffic :smt001 Mike definitely had the hot-stick of the day  :smt045

pics to follow....
