No koke love today

Went to New Melones, and everyone in boats was flying nets, all morning.  I could not steal a bite.  I threw everything I could at them. Nada.  Pulled a Jeff, and switched to bass, and absolutely hammered them!  Like 30 in an hour, many many doubles.  Lots of little ones, but some around 2-3 pounds.  No pics, but a great day out none the less.  I was the only yak out there, amoung an armada of boats.  I mean a gazillian boats.  Everyone I talked to had limits, they said put on a pink shirt, and they will jump into the yak.  So I showed my white/pink chest, still no love.  Oh well, next time.

Weird, I pretty much experienced the same thing but got lucky with one fish. At least the bass were present. Didn't get your voicemail till this morning, thanks for the verbal report

No problem, I think I have to take two stinking furlough days even though I missed half the month, if I do, we need to hook up for something, more kokes or butts.  Are you by chance going to be able to make it this coming weekend to Berkeley?

Good job with the bass.  They are more fun anyway.
