Hell Hole May 12

I am going to try to get to Hell Hole again.  This time I will be armed with a shovel.

I plan to head up around 10:30, drive as far as I can and shovel snow til I get to Hell hole or until it gets dark.  Anyone game?

PM me your phone number. I was waiting until 8am this morning to call the Georgetown Ranger Station to see if the road is open.
I was thinking about hitting it tomorrow.

Just got off the phone.
From Georgetown to HH the road is open. If you drive from Auburn you can go the backside through Oxbow and get there too.
Placer County was talking about plowing Mosquito Ridge on Sunday but no confirmation of that being done yet.
You can also get to French Meadows via Georgetown but there are some places where it is narrowed down to one lane because of snow.
I talked with a guy who drove all of this yesterday.
