More like OP is beating the snot out of us.
I made a vow that we sill keep fishing that spot until we land a keeper there.
Hope to do it before rockcod season starts in this area.

Tom, this Saturday will be the day for you to catch that big halibut. The
fish will practically jump into your lap. Just be ready with the big net.

I hope, forget the net, just got my new KZ custom gaff this week.  I'm gonna stick that pig.
BTW, i really hope it does not jump in my lap.  I would be frightened my wiener might get bit.

Tom,

Don't worry, they are out there! When it comes, just be ready! It usually happens when you're not thinking about it and feel defeated! Good luck!

Just ran over to OP during my lunch, the wind is howling only four boats working from the pier to the birdcage.  We might hold off till Sunday as the wind will be lighter.

We should be there around 7am, there is a bait shop right by the pier.  Channel 69 but I'll also be switching to 68.
