Well, the applications and "The Book" are out. Know where your going this year? Know what you are going to apply for?

I know that most people are going to apply for their favorite zone and take their chances with the draw. Which means they won't be looking to buy a tag until after the results are out. But........ just in case you do not get your draw:
Coon Camp Springs will have 4 X3A tags for sale this year. You can get all of the details by going to

http://www.cooncampsprings.com/deer_tags.html

Good Luck!

With 6 pts this year... I'm hoping I draw an X zone... It's been a while since I've knocked a buck down.

I have 5 points myself but I just buy a point each year. I spend so much time working on the project and then conducting the guided hunts that I have not had time to spend on a decent hunt of my own.

For a change though, this October I am going to Colorado for an Elk hunt. I am past due for my first Elk.

That's awesome... years ago I started putting in for my pts in Colorado for an elk. Then, came the kiddies and I stopped. I'd love to get an elk one of these days though. They are tasty animals. But, in the meantime, I'll settle for a buck in my sights. Like yourself, I'll be pressed for time come deer season. But, I'll manage at least a few days out there.
