What a beautiful day!  Launched at the Vallejo Ramp (said a prayer that the suburban would still be there on my return) after buying some chovies and celebrating the demise of the hated Dodger slugger.  Fished the end of the incoming and most of the outgoing for plenty of small stripers to 20 inches.   None on the troll all on chov chunks.  Nothing noteworthy, but just a great day to be on the water.   Had lots of admirerers of the set up on the Hobie!

The boats being launched today there made me think my motor looked a lot more dependable!

Thanks for the report Zinful1. I know exactly what you mean about parking your
nice SUV just anywhere. But, if you launch at Grotto I think you'll be fine. There
seems to be a lot of regulars there hanging around fishing.

Looks like you had a nice day. Plus it was warm enough to go barefoot. WOW! There will be big bass up the napa river come fall.

Any striper caught outside of September and October is a bonus!

It is actually the public launch.

The spot that you were at they say is the striper freeway. If you anchor on the
other side, you're in the sturgeon zone.

I imagine bait did so much better today because of the minus tide mucking up the water a bit?
