I fell in love in San Simeon

While we were in San Simeon over the weekend for a camping trip I fell in love.
Saturday morning decided to go for a walk, I turned a corner and bumped into this beauty at one of the campsites. It was love at first site.




The owners of this Sportsmobile Beauty are a very nice couple from Reno. They are both recreational paddlers. The husband said he occaisionally fishes from his sit-inside yak up at Tahoe & Pyramid.

They were kind enough to give me a tour of their sportsmobile. They showed all the cool features and let me sit in the drivers seat.

Owner said he averaged about 15 mpg x the 47 gallon fuel tank.

I also seen this AWESOME BEAST in Oakland the other day.

  I've seen those Sportsmobiles at the ISE shows.  Very cool inside!  The show vehicle I got to investigate was set up with solar and had 110Vac via built in inverters.  Huge Reunel winch bumper, ( I had a Reunel on my last 94'gasser Dodge 1500) Very cool very heavy duty winch bumper.
