Absolutely beautiful and what a wonderful concept!

Studio quality sound but recorded outdoors?

Yep. Being an ex-director for the bigs I can really appreciate what it took to get such a great recording.

Yes, humans are beautiful, aren't they.

People selling "origninal sin" and "fundamental evil" are just wrong.
We are the only animal that practices general altruism.
We fail, but we never fail to try to mend our ways and behavior(s).
We are finer and more beautiful than any other species..
......because......of our willingness to experiment with altruism.

Proof of human goodness is our largely successful voyage to civilization.

Altruism....is....the fundamental good.
The religionists and the Greeks....all had it wrong.
It's not god that makes us good...it's we.
Truth, Justice, Fairness, Kindness, Peace....are secondary
products of altruism and "altruistic considerations."

Altruism is the necessary ingredient in living together.
Living together mandates giving up self-interest.

Altruism and music....humans have them both.
In our imperfection...we are nontheless very very good.

Nice one.   :smt001

I like your perspective, Judd.  My college training in Anthropology always has my paradigms searching for an explainable, evolutionary root to behaviors.  I think it is just so noteworthy and profound that we have chosen altruism - I usually just call it Love - because, as animals, the bottom line will always be us.  It really is all about ME!  BUT...  The adoption of the practice of loving, giving, sharing, caring and ultimately cooperating to further our species as a whole (even though not all participate  :smt009) really comes back around to us (it's called karma, Dude!) and is really one of the most beautiful and positive things in the universe.

My daughter saved a post-it that I wrote to her amid one of her 9 year old selfish tantrums.  It said, "the best thing to do for yourself is to show love to someone else."  There was a time when I didn't know I had that in me, but we all grow up at some point.   :smt001
