Tomorrow 10am to 3:30 at Shoreline lake Mt View. Same deal as san Pablo last week, a bunch of boats to paddle for free and test.  10-noon is REI "members only"

I'll be there with Ocean Kayak guys talking fishing....Hope to see more NCKA'rs, see old friends and meet new ones.

Allen

Thanks for the heads up Allen. I just happened to sell my old Necky Dolphin today on craigslist and my wife and I were thinking about picking up another boat. I tried to go to the San pablo one but even though we got there at two and they closed at three they sent us away. Said they already had enough people and were shutting down.

Do you know if they have any tarpon 160's coming?

Hopefully see you tomorrow!

-Eliot

Nice to meet you today Allen. We had a great time paddling all the different boats. It's really cool to compare them side by side like that in the same water so you don't have to try to remember how something paddled a week ago.

After getting pummeled way to many times in the surf in her old Necky Spike my wife is eager to buy an Ocean Kayak Mysto for surf play.

Myself I spent most of the time swapping the Trident 15 for the Tarpon 160i. Although I like the rod pod a lot I think the Tarpon seems to paddle a little nicer and is a bit faster so will probably be my next boat.

Thanks again,

-Eliot

Allen, sorry to bail on you so quickly. I was looking for you to say goodbye. I had forgotten that I was to deposit my refund check. Happy days!!  :smt001 The weather was so much different from last weekend.
