Enjoyed a few hours on the water at DM this morning. Arrived around 8am, off 11:30am.
I had the place to myself for most of the morning. A canoe tour group cruised past and a couple pb's.
Had a lot of hits from small bass that didn't stick and caught two LMB. The biggest was a 15" fatty.

Had a nice chat with new NCKA member PMJD (Paul) from Elk Grove. This was his first time on the water with his new Trident. Nice to meet you Paul. :smt006

A lady in one of canoes called out to me "Great day to be alive!". She's right.

Alfredo may I ask where you guys are launching to get into the Meadows?  I have a place next to KoKet resort and have fished the Meadows by boat.  I'm not sure what would be the best way in on my kayak.  Please advise.----Jeff (Barefoot 1)

Looks like a great day out there...we had similar luck at DM a week ago...lots of shorties; biggest at 16 in.  We had trouble figuring out where bigger fish were holding...

I was captivated by all the foliage and the river otters swimming about...beautiful place to be alive in...
