lazy launch at 10. flat calm. paddled up to the 3rd concrete plillar after the fence. dropped down a smelt, rolled a cigarette, lit it and i was on. I quickly coaxed the 26"er to my newly made gaff and drew first blood. thought of calling it quits right there, but drifted all the way to the channel marker poles, and worked the edges of the channel for one smelt bitten in half.Tide turned, drifted back. still flat calm at 2:30. good day, sun burnt legs.

Did you make it out there on Monday?  Things didn't work out the way I had hoped, and I didn't make it back out again.

ewb..he he, Ill just have to take those jabs till I get a camera, right after I replace the vhf i donated to Neptune a few weeks ago, and a new rod n reel.I have a horrible relationship with cameras. I need one that is bulletproof.

WTG Sharky. I was planning on going out there this morning but AC in my house was on and I never left. Stepped out of the house to get the mail damn it was hot.
