I'm reading 6 foot wind waves and 25 knot winds. Is it going to be worth driving up?

Diving maybe (depend on locations) but not kayaking.  Anything above 15 knots is not good for kayaking!  We just postponed our yak fishing trip for tomorrow at ARW.

A friend and I went out on my Cobra triple a couple of weeks ago following Dave. 20-25 knot winds returning to the beach and we had to go straight into it for about half a mile. It was not fun. This is killing me. I need to get up there in good weather and dive. Is the vis still going to be good?

No vis is going to be back to normal.... lousy. sorry for the bad news. For the good vis you need to look for a 3.6 ft swell at 10 seconds. That and any swell that is smaller and further apart.
I dove yesterday and the wind reduced the vis to around 20', still good but nothing like the vis the day before.
